Located in Surat, Aalidhra house is a high-reaching 4 storey 5 bedroom structure which has been broken to levels at the west facade by use of balconies and terraces. The entire structure is generated by addition and subtraction into its rectangular art deco form. The main facade at the south consists of openable jali walls, behind which are windows. The central atrium is completely made of glass to absorb maximum radiance, but to diffuse light; a tensile screen on the south was affixed. Natural trees on the site were retained. 4 car parking, a swimming pool and a personal spa add to the luxury of the abode.
